I’m Monica Tangry, an ACE-Certified Lifestyle & Weight Management Coach and an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer living and operating in Vancouver, BC. I am also a mother to two, and a wife to one. I’ve created this fitBlog (fitness blog) to share the information and knowledge I’ve used to transform my lifestyle, with other women and help them to achieve the same success in their lives.
My personal experience with weight loss made me realize how important the psycho-social factors (social support, encouragement, self-esteem, self-confidence) are in the whole weight loss process. Nutrition and exercise are, of course, essential, but the psycho-social factors are equally important, especially in the beginning stages, since they establish the foundation for achieving long-lasting lifestyle changes.
I am the founder of fitBodyCoach Lifestyle-Fitness-Nutrition, providing one-on-one personal training and coaching services that focus on weight loss through an integrated process of lifestyle and behavior change, nutritional coaching, and regular exercise and physical activity.
Currently, I am working on my Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) designation through the Canadian School for Natural Nutrition (CSNN).
My goal is to help busy women achieve their weight loss goals by adopting healthy lifestyle habits. It’s never too late to achieve your best body, but you must take the first step!
